The Orlando International airport is designated the IATA code MCO. It is located six miles southeast of Orlando in Florida. International passengers must go through security inspection while leaving the customs section or otherwise go through the people mover and then the main terminal.

It serves AirTran Airways as a secondary base and is also a mini hub for the Delta Connection aircrafts of Freedom Airlines and Chautauqua Airlines. MCO is also one focus city for two airlines—Southwest Airlines and Delta Air Lines. Besides it also hosts the headquarters of AirTran Airways. The largest carrier services in terms of number of passengers traveled, in MCO is the Southwest Airlines. The MCO has one principal terminal building, which is connected by people movers with four airside terminals. The number 1 and 2 airsides use “A” baggage claim whereas airsides 3, 4 use “B” baggage claim.
